Crowns And Bridges

CROWNS & BRIDGES are fixed prosthetic devices that are bonded or cemented on to the existing teeth or implant and function exactly like your natural teeth.

Crowns

Also called as “caps”  are dental restorations which are used to restore and strengthen broken down damaged teeth. They cap or encircle a tooth to improve the strength or appearance of the tooth. They mimic the color, shape and size of the neighboring natural teeth.

Bridges

A bridge may be recommended if you’re missing one or more teeth. Gaps left by missing teeth eventually cause the remaining teeth to rotate or shift into the empty spaces around, which results in a bad bite. The imbalance caused by it can also lead to gum disease and other disorders.
Bridges usually involves putting a crown on each tooth on either side of the missing tooth, and then a false tooth or teeth is suspended between the crowns
